TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW

• When notified on the interview date be sure to ask and write down the person you will be talking to, if there are any suggestions on how to get prepared, and if there will be any specific interview format.

• Prepare yourself in advance with a full research on the company you are about to be interviewed from, so that you completely understand your recruiter, and be able to come up with interesting questions.

• Think about the possible questions you might be asked during the interview and practice your answer in front of another person that can evaluate your performance.

* Describe yourself in three words.* What are you looking for in terms of career development?
* Talk about yourself.* Talk about the outcome of the last project you worked on.

* Give an example of a problem that you have solved in your previous job in a team work situation. * Give two reasons we should hire you.

• Dress in professional attire, which means appropriate, conservative, and well presented (clean, with no wrinkles, and polished)

Men and Women

* Two piece business suit in dark colors like blue or grey.* Only one ring.
* Conservative and well groomed hairstyle.* Don’t smoke or chew gum.
* A little touch of perfume.* Light and elegant portfolio
* Well presented fingernails.  

Women

* Long sleeve blouse in pastel colours.* Shoes with not too high heels.
* Skin colored hosiery with no patterns.* One set of small earrings.
* Briefcase instead of purse. 

Men

* White long sleeve shirt.* No beards or mustache.
* Silk tie with a conservative pattern.* No earrings.

• Turn your cell phone off before you enter.

• Remember your manners, shake hands, be polite, and smile at all times.
