• Effective utilization of engineering design tools (ProE, Pro Interlink, Partlister)
• Design skill with sheet metal and tubing parts.
• Demonstrated creativity in new product design.
• Strong working knowledge of the products, engineering documentation system and the ability to work within an engineering design team.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing fabrication and assembly methods.
• Create designs and the documentation drawings & BOM through the engineering PCA release process.
• Design Team leadership responsibilities.
• Coordinate design activities with local team and off-shore design teams.

Education Requirements:

• Required: Associates degree in Mechanical Technology
• Preferred: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Pro Interlink and Pro E sheet-metal and piping assembly & drawing packages.
• Previous relevant job history experience, especially HVAC product design and/or product sustaining.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel.
• Demonstrated design leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with manufacturing and suppliers.
